BIOGRAPHY:
Brittany Berzin is the co-founder of NorCal Advocates. She grew up in Petaluma, a close-knit, agricultural community. During her upbringing, she dedicated a significant amount of time to competitive gymnastics, an experience that taught her self-discipline and gave her a competitive edge. She has carried these skills over to her legal career, where she approaches each case with a resolute level of dedication and focus. After attending high school in Petaluma, Brittany went to UC Davis where she competed on the Division I rowing team. Brittany got her J.D. from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and was a member of the nationally recognized mock trial team. For the past eight years Brittany has been advocating for employees in a variety of matters ranging from individual discrimination and wrongful termination cases to complex wage and hour class action litigation. She is committed to utilizing her background and expertise to provide client-centered representation, ensuring that the needs and interests of those she serves take precedence. EDUCATION:

Brittany graduated from McGeorge with Great Distinction and was inducted into the Order of the Coif, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She has been selected as a rising star by Super Lawyers each year since 2020, a designation given to no more than 5% of practicing attorneys in Northern California. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Brittany is an active board member with Sacramento County Bar Association (2023-present) where she currently serves as Vice President. Brittany serves as Board President and regularly volunteers for the Center for Workers' Rights, a nonprofit committed to assisting low income workers and advancing workers' rights in the greater Sacramento area. Brittany is also an active board member for the SCBA Solo/Small Practice Division where she serves as Chair. Brittany is a former board member of the SCBA's Labor & Employment Law Section (2020-2022) and California Employment Lawyers Association Barristers Committee. |
